Short answer: Qumuna gives members a shared view of relevant community events and two ways to carry dates into another calendar: add an individual event, or subscribe to a private iCalendar feed. The feed is read-only connectivity from Qumuna, not bidirectional synchronization.

Community calendars keep event details and participation close to the community that created them, while a personal calendar view brings a member's relevant events together. This makes it easier to find the current event record instead of relying on a date copied into a message.
Connect a phone or calendar app
Members can add an individual event to a compatible calendar or create a private iCalendar subscription link for their personal Qumuna event feed. Many phone, desktop, and web calendar apps can subscribe to this standard feed and refresh it on their own schedule.
Understand the connection boundary
The subscription is a one-way, read-only feed from Qumuna. Editing an event in a phone calendar does not update Qumuna, and the refresh timing is controlled by the receiving calendar app. Treat the feed link like a private token: revoke it and create a new one if it is shared accidentally.
