Short answer: Qumuna files provide a community-scoped home for documents and media that members need to find again. Authorized leaders can organize folders and manage files while the platform applies access checks, storage limits, and, when antivirus scanning is enabled, malware scanning.
Organize and find shared material
Files can be arranged in folders, previewed when a supported preview is available, downloaded, renamed, and moved. Keeping the current document in a named location gives members a clearer reference point than searching for the message where it was first attached.
Manage changes and recovery
Authorized file managers can delete individual items or batches and use the available trash and restore workflow when something was removed by mistake. Renaming or moving a file changes its organization without requiring members to upload another duplicate.
Access, safety, and storage boundaries
File actions are checked against community permissions, and uploads are subject to storage quotas and, when antivirus scanning is enabled, malware scanning. Scanning reduces risk but is not a guarantee that a file is trustworthy; communities should still limit upload permissions, use clear filenames, and avoid storing material that does not belong in the community.
